How shared tracking works
One baby profile, several devices. Whoever is with the baby logs what happens — a nap started, a bottle finished, a diaper changed — and the entry appears for everyone else straight away. The daily summary is built from all of those entries together, so it describes the actual day rather than the part of it one person saw.
That matters more than it sounds. Two caregivers keeping two mental logs produce two different versions of the same day, and neither is complete. One shared log produces one.
The same sync applies to every entry type — naps, feeds and diaper changes all show up on the other device the same way.
How my partner and I sync so we both see updates
Turn shared tracking on, and there is nothing else to do. Every entry either of you makes shows up on the other device in real time. You stop asking “did you already feed her?” and you stop answering it wrong.
If one of you logs something without a connection — on a walk, on a plane, in a basement — the entry is saved on the device and syncs as soon as it is online again. Nothing is lost while you are out of signal.
Can a nanny or grandparent log from their own device?
Yes. A nanny, grandparent or any other caregiver can be added to shared tracking and log naps, feeds and diapers from their own phone. You see the day as it happens instead of asking about it at pickup, and they see the same wake-window estimate you do, so a nap is not accidentally pushed an hour late.
This is the case shared tracking was built for: the person with the baby is not always the person keeping the records.
Tracking the night shift when you swap
Nights are where two mental logs fall apart fastest. Whoever is awake logs the wake-up and the feed; the other parent reads it in the morning without being woken up to be told. By the end of the week the history shows whether the night wakings are drifting earlier, clustering at a particular hour, or thinning out — a pattern neither of you would spot from memory alone, because each of you only saw half of it.
What shared tracking costs
Shared tracking is a Luli Premium feature. Premium is from $39.99 per year, or from $6.99 a month, with a free trial on most offers (3–7 days, depending on the offer). Exact price and trial length depend on your country and store. The free version of Luli covers sleep logging, an age-based nap prediction and your last 7 days of history on a single device.

Fewer things to keep in your head
The point of a shared log is not tidiness. It is that neither of you has to be the household’s memory. Both of you can put the phone down and still know what happened at 4am, and the person who wasn’t there does not have to be briefed.
