Feeding tracker

Breast, bottle and solids in one feeding log

Luli keeps breastfeeding, bottle feeds and solid food in a single timeline, so a mixed-feeding day reads as one picture instead of two half-kept records. Every entry is timestamped and lands in the same daily summary as sleep, which is where feeding patterns usually become visible. Feeding tracking is part of Luli Premium.

Why mixed feeding needs one log, not two

Plenty of babies get both breast and bottle in the same day — a night feed at the breast, a bottle before daycare, a top-up in the evening. Kept in two places, that day is impossible to read: you can see the bottles and lose the breastfeeds, or the other way round.

In Luli they go in the same timeline. When you look back at the week, you are looking at the whole intake, not the half of it that happened to be logged in the app you had open.

What you can log

Breastfeeding, bottle feeds and solid food, each timestamped as it happens. Solids sit in the same log rather than a separate section, so the weeks when solids are being introduced alongside milk stay readable.

What the feeding history shows you

A single feed tells you almost nothing. Two weeks of them tell you when the long gap in the day has moved, whether the evening cluster is stretching, and whether the night feed you assumed was fixed has quietly shifted an hour later.

That is the part parents actually use: not the log, the pattern behind it.

Feeding and sleep in the same picture

Feeding and sleep are the two things new parents track, and they are usually tracked apart. Keeping them together is what makes a hard day explainable — a short nap after a short feed, an early wake-up after an unusually long stretch overnight.

Luli’s nap estimate is built from wake windows and your baby’s logged sleep, not from feeds. But when you are looking at a day that went wrong, having both on one screen is often the difference between a theory and an answer.

What’s in the free version

Feeding tracking is a Premium feature. The free version of Luli covers sleep logging, an age-based nap prediction and your last 7 days of history. Premium is from $39.99 per year, or from $6.99 a month, with a free trial on most offers (3–7 days, depending on the offer). Exact price and trial length depend on your country and store.

Feeding logs across two caregivers

If more than one person feeds the baby, shared tracking puts their entries in the same log — so the bottle the nanny gave at eleven is there when you get home, and you are not deciding whether to offer another one on a guess.
