Frequently asked questions

Everything you might want to know about Luli

Short answers to the questions parents ask most often before downloading the app.

Tracking

What is Luli used for?

Luli is a baby tracking app for ages 0–24 months. It logs naps and night sleep, and estimates when the next nap is likely to start. Feeding, diaper and shared tracking are part of Luli Premium.

Instead of holding wake windows and feeding times in your head on broken sleep, you log each event with one tap and check the app when you need to know what comes next. Over days and weeks the logs turn into visible patterns — how long naps actually run, when night wakings cluster, how feeding and sleep line up.

What can I track in Luli?

The free version logs naps and night sleep. Premium adds breastfeeding, bottle feeds, solid foods, and diaper changes in the same timeline. Every entry is timestamped and builds into a history you can review as patterns over days and weeks.

The app also holds reminders for naps and feeds, and shows how sleep trends shift as your baby grows.

Predictions

How does Luli predict the next nap?

Luli predicts the next nap using wake windows — the age-appropriate awake periods between sleeps — combined with your baby's logged sleep history. Predictions become more accurate as more sleep is logged.

Luli calculates the window from your baby's exact age and last logged sleep, then reminds you before it closes, so the wind-down can start at the right moment rather than after the crying begins. Predictions come from your baby's own data — date of birth, wake time, actual logged sleep — not from a generic schedule.

What is a wake window?

A wake window is the length of time a baby can comfortably stay awake between sleeps before overtiredness builds. Wake windows lengthen as a baby grows, which is why a schedule that worked last month often stops working.

Missing the window in either direction causes trouble — too early and the baby is not tired enough to settle, too late and overtiredness makes falling asleep harder. Luli tracks the window in real time from your baby's age and last sleep, so the timing question stops being guesswork.

What ages is the Luli baby app designed for?

Luli is built for babies and toddlers from birth through 24 months. It works from day one, including the first four months, when wake windows change fastest and sleep is least predictable.

Setup asks only for the date of birth — Luli sets age-appropriate wake windows automatically and shifts them as your baby grows through the 0–24 month range, with no manual adjustment.

Does Luli give sleep training advice or medical guidance?

Luli gives sleep guidance based on wake-window science, not a prescriptive sleep-training method, and it is not a substitute for your pediatrician. If a logged pattern lines up with a recognized medical concern, Luli points you toward raising it at your next visit rather than attempting a diagnosis itself.

The language is deliberately careful — the app never labels your baby's sleep as "abnormal," and uses supportive phrasing like "looking good" or "a bit off" instead. For any sleep-related health concern, always talk to your pediatrician.

Platforms & languages

Is Luli baby tracker available on Android?

Luli is available on Android through Google Play, and on iPhone and iPad through the App Store. Both versions are free to download. See download requirements for both platforms.

The iOS version requires iOS 15.0 or later and is designed for iPhone and iPad.

What languages does Luli support?

Luli is available in 24 languages and follows your device's display language automatically — English, Bulgarian, Czech, Dutch, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian Bokmål, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, Swedish, Thai, Traditional Chinese, Turkish and Ukrainian. See the download page for the full list alongside iOS and Android details.

Does Luli work offline?

Yes. You can log naps, feeds and diaper changes without a connection, and you can look back at everything already saved on the device. New entries sync the next time the phone is online, so nothing logged during a walk or a flight is lost. More on the download page.

This matters most overnight, when wifi is the last thing on your mind — nothing you log is held back by a bad connection.

Sharing

Can two parents share tracking in the Luli app?

Yes. Shared tracking is part of Luli Premium: a partner, nanny or grandparent logs from their own device, and everyone sees the same sleep, feeding and diaper history in real time. The free version covers sleep logging on a single device — see plans and pricing for the full comparison. See how shared tracking works, or how sharing compares across baby tracker apps.

This matters most at night-shift handoffs. When one parent logs a 3am feed, the other sees it without asking — nothing is lost between shifts, and neither person has to reconstruct the night from memory.

How do my partner and I sync so we both see updates?

Once shared tracking is on, every entry either of you makes appears on the other device in real time — no exporting, no screenshots, no "did you already feed her?" at 3am. Entries made without a connection are saved on the device and sync as soon as it is back online. Shared tracking is a Premium feature.

That's what makes shift handoffs work without a conversation — whoever is off duty can check the app instead of asking whether the last feed already happened.

How can dad track the night shift?

With shared tracking on, whoever is awake logs the wake-up and the feed, and the other parent sees it in the morning without being woken to ask. The daily summary then shows the night as one picture rather than two half-remembered versions of it. Shared tracking is a Premium feature.

Can a nanny or grandparent get their own login?

Yes. A nanny, grandparent or any other caregiver can be added to shared tracking and log naps, feeds and diapers from their own device. You see the day as it happens instead of reconstructing it in the evening. Shared tracking is a Premium feature.

This is built for how care actually splits across a real household, not just the two parents — everyone works from the same log instead of comparing notes at handoff.

What does Luli's free version include?

The free version of Luli covers the tracking most parents check daily: sleep logging, a basic wake-window prediction based on your baby's age, and your last 7 days of logged history.

A Luli Premium subscription adds what builds up over time: a personalized prediction based on your baby's own data, feeding tracking (breastfeeding, formula, and solid food), diaper tracking, your full history beyond 7 days, and advanced statistics — day-to-day comparisons, a daily wake-window breakdown, and norm comparison charts.

How do I cancel a Luli subscription?

Cancel Luli Premium the same way you'd cancel any app subscription. On iOS, go to Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Luli → Cancel Subscription. On Android, open the Google Play Store → your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Luli → Cancel subscription. Full steps and billing details are on the pricing page.

This is a standard platform-level cancellation on both iOS and Android — Luli doesn't require anything extra inside the app itself.
